If you haven't seen or heard SHM talking about this for past 3 months then you must be blind or deaf. The trio of Swedish House Mafia (Sebastian Ingrosso, Steve Angello, & Axwell) have finally released what this all means:

Two massive shows:  

Madison Square Garden (25,000 capacity) in New York City 

Milton Keynes Bowl (65,000 capacity) in the UK.

This is just another eye opener that house music has made it mainstream. There has never been a house artist to perform at Madison Square Garden.

Spot Light: Knife Party

Rob Swire and fellow member Gareth McGrillen announced in various interviews and on Rob Swire's Twitter that a side project called Knife Party has been created. The side project will not be linked in any means to Pendulum and will consist of Electro House, Dubstep and other club genres. Knife Party made a remix of Save The World by Swedish House Mafia which made its debut on Radio 1 on Zane Lowe's show on 31 May 2011. Their first release will feature a Moombahton collaboration with dubstep producer Skrillex called "Zoology". Knife party have made a remix of Unison by Porter Robinson.^[21]

The name of the side project was used as a reference to the song of the same name by the alternative metal band Deftones, of which Pendulum are fans. Rob Swire stated on his Twitter feed that they would be broadcasting live brand new Knife Party tracks on Radio 1 in Ibiza on 5 August 2011

RIP DJ MEHDI

DJ MEHDI passed away last night from a house accident. It seems he suffered fatal injuries after a fall from a room.

First a Hip Hop DJ member of 113, DJ Mehdi then moved from Hip Hop and released some Electro on Pedro Winter records label, ED Banger in 2006.
